247CALM — Hush Hoodie for Sensory-Sensitive Adults

247CALM is a small clothing label making one garment, the Hush Hoodie, for adults who find noise, crowds, light and texture wearing — autistic people, ADHDers, anxious and highly sensitive people, and sensory seekers among them. Its starting point is that overload comes from environments built without sensitive nervous systems in mind, not from the person, so the hoodie is designed to take some of that load off while looking like any other hoodie on a train or in an office.

The idea came from one of the co-founders, who was diagnosed with ADHD in her thirties after years of coping quietly, and who saw how often women in particular are overlooked, misdiagnosed or left to self-soothe. The hoodie gathers several sensory adjustments into one piece. A triple-layer hood with a noise-dampening lining softens sharp sound without shutting the world out. Weighted panels across the chest and shoulders give steady, grounding pressure. The body is 310gsm organic cotton with flat-lock seams and no tags, the quarter zip is wrapped in fabric so there is no cold metal against the skin, and a kangaroo pocket with a stretchy inner hammock, extended sleeves with hidden thumbholes and a relaxed hem leave room for fidgeting and stimming.

Production is in small batches with European manufacturing partners. The hoodie comes in sizes S to XXL and unworn, unwashed items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days, with the buyer covering return postage. It is a cold-wash, air-dry garment — no tumble drying. For employers, 247CALM also supplies the hoodie as a corporate gift with a company logo, brand colours and packaging; logo-only orders can start from a single hoodie, which suits neurodivergent staff support, onboarding packs and wellbeing programmes.
