About ADHD Services Group

ADHD Services Group is a Dublin-based private clinic offering ADHD, autism and combined AuDHD diagnostic assessments to people across Ireland and the UK. It suits someone who wants a direct route to an assessment without first going through a GP, and who needs the resulting report to carry weight with the HSE or the NHS. Most assessments take place over video call, so where a person lives matters less than which health system they plan to take the report back to.

The clinic was founded by Charlene Coleman, who was identified as ADHD at 42 and autistic at 43, and more than 80 per cent of the team describe themselves as neurodivergent. Clinical direction comes from consultant psychiatrist Dr Jahan Zeb Khan, and assessing clinicians are registered with CORU, the HCPC, the PSI or the Irish Medical Council. Assessments follow DSM-5-TR and ICD-11 criteria in line with NICE guidance and include a structured clinical interview and validated questionnaires. The group pays particular attention to people whose traits are easy to miss — women and girls, and anyone who has spent years masking — and the combined AuDHD pathway produces a single report on how the two overlap rather than two separate verdicts.

The adult ADHD, autism and combined assessments each come with a free pre-assessment evaluation, a report of more than 30 pages, a management plan with workplace and education accommodations, a follow-up call and an EchoMind AI profile. Reports arrive within six weeks. The clinic is clear that an assessment does not guarantee a diagnosis and may point to other explanations such as stress or anxiety. Alongside diagnosis it offers ADHD coaching, sensory, dyslexia and dyspraxia assessments, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy, plus free anonymous screeners for masking, AuDHD and female-presentation ADHD.

What ADHD Services Group offers

  • Adult ADHD assessment

A structured clinical interview and validated questionnaires with a registered clinician, leading to a NICE-compliant report of 30+ pages and a personalised management plan. No GP referral needed.

  • Adult autism assessment

Both diagnostic pathways run as one coordinated assessment, producing a single report on the two conditions and how they interact, with a whole-of-life management plan.

Questions about ADHD Services Group

Will an ADHD Services Group report be accepted by the HSE or NHS?

The clinic states its reports are NICE-compliant and written to the standard required by the HSE in Ireland and the NHS in Northern Ireland and the wider UK.

Do I need a GP referral, and how quickly can I be seen?

No referral is needed — it is a direct-access private clinic. Appointments can be booked straight away and the report follows within six weeks.

Is a diagnosis guaranteed if I pay for an assessment?

No. The clinic says an assessment may find that traits are better explained by something else, such as stress or anxiety.

What is the difference between the combined AuDHD assessment and booking two separately?

The combined assessment runs both pathways together and produces one report covering ADHD, autism and how they interact.
