Allison Steinke — Hopes Whispers Coaching
Hopes Whispers offers shame-free one-to-one coaching for ADHD and AuDHD adults who have tried willpower and routines and still feel stuck. The premise is straightforward: you are not broken, you are wired differently, and the work is about releasing the guilt, understanding how your own brain actually operates, and building habits that genuinely support you rather than ones borrowed from a neurotypical template that was never going to fit.
The practice is led by Allison Steinke, whose own understanding of ADHD came through her children. Her earliest school memories are of playing inside her desk, entirely unaware of what the teacher had said or what she was supposed to be doing, looking around and wondering how everyone else simply knew what was expected. That feeling followed her into adulthood as a constant sense that everyone else had the manual for life and she did not. Recognising ADHD in her own children, and learning how it presents particularly in girls and women, led her to understand herself in a new way too.
Coaching is built on the belief that every person has strengths regardless of diagnosis, and that ADHD brings creativity, intuition and energy alongside its challenges — the shift comes from learning to work with your brain rather than against it. The approach covers executive function, habit-building, energy management and practical everyday support for neurodivergent adults, with particular focus on women. Based in Canada and working online, Hopes Whispers offers a free thirty-minute introductory call, and a free ADHD guide is available for anyone wanting a sense of the approach first.
