AUVIE — Life Skills App for Neurodivergent Children & Teens

AUVIE is a life-skills, safety and regulation app for children and teens aged 4 to 18 who need more time — and a full path for the adults who hold them. Built by The Grace Network, it offers more than eighty skill modules covering feelings, safety, money, kitchen, friends and work, structured by age band and progression-based rather than age-normed, so the words match how a child actually learns rather than how old they are. There are no scores and no shame: wrong turns redirect rather than penalise, and progress only ever counts up.

The clinical grounding is explicitly neurodiversity-affirming, drawing on DIR/Floortime and trauma-informed practice, and the app was made with clinicians’ input rather than engineers alone. Every child-facing line is written by real people, not generated — adult-facing AI stays entirely separate, and no AI talks to the child. Alongside the child experience sit 174+ lessons for caregivers in a framework-named learn library, calendars, shared moments and bonding games, plus a Care Circle offering role-based access for the wider team of therapists and professionals who help.

Privacy is treated as structural rather than a footnote: the app is ad-free, data is never sold and never used to train AI, and it is designed to work on any device, even on a slow connection.
