About Beverley Nolker

Beverley Nolker is an accredited ADHD and Executive Function Coach and the founder of ADHD Sheppey, a community she started on the Isle of Sheppey more than a decade ago because local families had so little to turn to. Her work is aimed at households where ADHD is part of daily life — parents and carers, children and teenagers, and adults — and it extends to teachers, healthcare staff and anyone else supporting someone with ADHD. Beverley is herself diagnosed with ADHD and autism and is part of a neurodivergent family, which shapes how she frames the work: the aim is to change the conditions around a person as much as the person.

Her background is in teaching, and she holds QTLS alongside her ADHD coach training through the Laurie Dupar International ADHD Coaching Center (iACT) in the United States. She is also trained in Neuro Linguistic Programming and TimeLine Therapy, holds a Neurodiversity at Work qualification, and has completed the Anna Freud National Autism Programme for CAMHS and community settings. ADHD Sheppey has grown from a parent and carer group into a wider service, with youth support workers for children and teens and a structured workshop programme.

That programme is the most concrete way in. The five-week ADHD Awesome Programme brings the whole family together weekly, online or in person, to cover how ADHD works, communication, calming practices and practical strategies. Shorter online courses are open to anyone: Getting to Grips with ADHD (2.5 hours), Mastering Executive Functions (two weeks) and the 123 Magic Positive Parenting course (three weeks). In-person versions of each can be arranged on request, which makes them workable for schools and local groups as well as individual families.
