About Off-Center Coaching with Katy Welborn

Off-Center Coaching is the one-to-one online practice of Katy Welborn, a late-diagnosed autistic coach with ADHD based in East Tennessee. It works exclusively with autistic, ADHD and AuDHD women, including those who are self-identified or still working out whether the labels fit. The practice is built for people who have spent years wondering why things that seemed easy for others took so much invisible effort, and who want a coach who does not need that experience explained.

Welborn holds a master's degree in social work and has a background in mental health, having worked in crisis intervention and homelessness services before moving into coaching. Sessions take place over Google Meet with the camera optional — clients are welcome to doodle, pace or look out of the window. Coaching covers masking, energy, boundaries, work, relationships, identity and communication, and Welborn builds practical tools for individual clients, from trackers and frameworks to small custom apps. A free 30-minute consultation is used to check fit and choose a package.

There are three packages. Now What? is four one-hour sessions for people who have recently been diagnosed or have self-identified, moving from making sense of the diagnosis to common neurodivergent experiences, the client's own concerns and a personalised resource guide. Ongoing coaching comes in blocks of four, six or eight sessions. What Now, In Practice runs for twelve weeks, with ten weekly sessions plus 90-minute intake and closing sessions, written summaries, support between sessions and a custom energy-pacing app. Pricing follows a three-tier equity model — the coaching is identical at each tier and clients choose the level they can sustain.
