David Murphy — Neuropositive ADHD & Neurodiversity Coaching
David Murphy Coaching offers neuropositive coaching for ADHD and neurodivergent adults who want to better understand themselves, work with their strengths and find practical ways forward that fit how they actually think and live. David’s approach rests on a conviction stated plainly across his practice: different ways of thinking are strengths to be understood and supported, not problems to be fixed — and rather than trying to make people fit a particular idea of how they should function, coaching explores what genuinely works for them.
His background spans more than twenty years across teaching, coaching and leadership in further and higher education, combined with his own lived experience of ADHD and a non-traditional journey through education. That mix shapes three strands of work: one-to-one coaching exploring how a client thinks, works and responds to the world, identifying strengths and building practical strategies around executive functioning, overwhelm, confidence, motivation, planning and sustainable ways of working; educational consultancy supporting adults, parents and families with neurodiversity, SEND, school attendance, returning to study and educational pathways; and small-group coaching for neurodivergent adults who want to connect, share experiences and develop strategies in a welcoming environment.
Coaching is collaborative, strengths-based and non-judgemental — clients describe a calm, warm, genuinely non-judgemental space with practical outcomes, from organisation and work-life balance to becoming noticeably less avoidant of long-held goals. David works online with adults across the UK and offers a free twenty-minute Hello Call for anyone wanting to find out whether coaching might be a good fit.
