About Free2BMe

Free2BMe is a Huddersfield-based training company, wholly owned and run by neurodivergent people, that teaches counsellors, therapists, coaches and the organisations employing them how to work well with neurodivergent clients and colleagues. It started life in 2022 as Free2BMe Therapy Services and took its current name in 2024, and its guiding principle is "nothing about us without us" — the people designing and delivering the material are neurodivergent practitioners with clinical and coaching backgrounds, not outside observers.

For individual practitioners the core offer is the CPD Certificate in Neurodiversity Affirming Practice, accredited by CPD UK. It runs over six months and gives more than 30 hours of CPD, covering affirming practice itself, adult ADHD and autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia and sensory and processing differences, late diagnosis, and trauma in neurodivergent adults. Sessions are live and online in small groups, timed around working hours, with recordings for anyone who misses one. Payment can be spread, and concession rates exist for trainees and people on low incomes or unwaged — useful for counsellors still in training who want this grounding early.

Organisations can book Neurodiversity 101, Working Therapeutically with ADHD, autism and AuDHD courses, or something built to order, delivered at their premises anywhere in the UK or over Zoom or Teams. Reductions are available for small charities. Free2BMe also runs clinical supervision groups of up to ten and reflective practice groups for multidisciplinary teams, online or in person in West and South Yorkshire, Oldham, Glossop, Tameside and inner and south London. Past clients include counselling services, universities, advocacy groups, crisis services and government. It also offers Access to Work coaching for neurodivergent employees and keeps a directory of neurodivergent therapists and coaches.
