About Hannah Desmond
Hannah Desmond is an ADHD and AuDHD coach for neurodivergent adults, with a particular focus on people working in technology. Originally from Bristol and now based in Athens, she coaches adults who want to understand how ADHD or autism actually shows up in their work and daily life, and to find ways of working that fit rather than forcing themselves into routines built for someone else. She was diagnosed with ADHD in 2022 and is AuDHD, and she spent time as a software developer at a cybersecurity scale-up without the support she now helps others find.
That mix of backgrounds is the distinguishing feature. Alongside the developer years, she has worked in specialist NHS mental health and autism support services and in student wellbeing in higher education, so she brings both an insider's view of technical workplaces and a grounding in clinical and support settings. Her coaching pairs warmth with practical exercises and a look at the mental models and thought patterns — perfectionism, self-criticism, over-analysing — that keep people stuck. A recurring theme is treating ADHD as part of who someone is rather than a label for poor behaviour, and working on burnout and sustainable ways of working rather than productivity at any cost. She trained as an ADHD coach with Gold Mind Academy, holds the ADHD-Informed Coach badge, and is working towards ICF accreditation.
For organisations, especially tech teams and their managers, she delivers talks, training and workshops on how neurodivergence shows up in technical roles, executive functioning at work, the path from masking to burnout, why standard productivity advice often misses the mark, and how to support sustainable performance. Individuals and organisations can both start with a free discovery call.
