About Helen Frewer Coaching

Helen Frewer Coaching is a one-to-one coaching and coach supervision practice specialising in neurodiversity. Helen Frewer works with neurodivergent adults, with managers who lead neurodivergent people in corporate settings, and with families, and runs workshops for organisations. For someone weighing up whether to get in touch, the useful detail is how the work starts: the emphasis is on identifying strengths and talents and building confidence first, and only then on practical strategies for the places where work or home life does not fit.

The practice combines long coaching experience with lived experience. Helen qualified as a coach in 2007 and as a coach supervisor in 2017, and worked at the John Lewis Partnership, first in marketing and then as an internal coach across John Lewis and Waitrose, before leaving in 2019. During that time Helen was part of the Inside Out coaching group, alongside internal coaches from the BBC, GlaxoSmithKline, the Civil Service, PwC and British Airways. Helen has an ADHD diagnosis and is parent to two adult children, one dyslexic and one with an Asperger's diagnosis — so neurodivergence is familiar from both sides of family life, and that experience sits behind the family coaching.

Beyond individual coaching, the practice supports employers with inclusion work, including neurodivergent-friendly recruitment and onboarding, and runs workshops on neurodiversity, perfectionism and happiness. Coach supervision is also offered to other coaches. The first consultation is free and is used to check whether the fit is right; ongoing fees, location and whether sessions run online or in person are not stated on the site, so those are worth asking about at that first conversation.
