About Holly Paton

Holly Paton is an ADHD coach based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, who works online with adults aged 18 and over through her practice, Holl Hearted Coaching. She was diagnosed with combined-type ADHD at 28 and is autistic, and her coaching starts from the view that the aim is to understand how a person works and build around it — values, interests and strengths first — rather than to change who they are. She also describes a deliberate use of humour, and encourages clients to approach their ADHD with curiosity rather than shame.

Her clients are adults with ADHD, many also autistic, AuDHD or dyslexic, and she lists specific experience with aphantasia, alexithymia, burnout and nervous system dysregulation. She works often with creatives, business owners and the self-employed, and with people in charity, environmental, tech and gaming, education, academic and health or helping roles, and describes her practice as LGBTQIA+ friendly. Her training includes ADHD coaching with The ADHD Advocate, an ICF-accredited Certificate in Laser Coaching, The Inside of Autism with The Autistic Advocate, a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism, and Coaches Rising courses in the Neuroscience of Change and Internal Family Systems-informed work; she is working towards an AAC credential.

Coaching is one to one and online only, over whichever platform suits — Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Signal. Sessions last 60 minutes, with payment plans available, and new clients usually start weekly; she recommends 12 to 24 sessions, or roughly three to six months. Coaching can be funded through Access to Work for employed or self-employed people in England, Scotland and Wales. A free introductory call of about 20 minutes comes first.
