About Jeanette Hunter
Jeanette Hunter is an executive function coach in Kilmarnock who works online with neurodivergent adults — autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, dyslexic and dyspraxic people — and with anyone who recognises executive function difficulty in themselves without a diagnosis. Her clients tend to know perfectly well what they need to do. What trips them up is the gap between knowing and doing: getting started, holding a plan in mind, managing time and emotion, following through. That gap is where her coaching sits, and no formal diagnosis is needed to begin.
The work pairs practical strategy with a close look at conditions. Using an executive skills framework, motivational interviewing and the stages of change model, sessions map what helps a person function well, which demands drain their capacity, and the stories they have absorbed about their own difficulties. Rather than handing over a fixed system, she builds the client's own ability to set goals in a way that suits them, with the aim that they can eventually coach themselves. Coaching runs in weekly blocks of eight or 12 sessions of 50 minutes over Google Meet, for clients across the UK and further afield. A block of eight can be paid in two halves, and continuation sessions are available afterwards.
Alongside individual coaching she offers specialist support for neurodivergent business owners and a structured workplace programme that employers can commission as a reasonable adjustment or staff benefit; Access to Work funding is accepted for eligible clients. Jeanette holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh, an executive function coaching qualification through the MindSpark methodology and a COSCA-recognised counselling skills qualification, has trained in neurodivergent burnout, and works to the Association for Coaching's Global Code of Ethics. New clients start with a free 30-minute discovery call.
