Kaleidoo - Skills First Hiring for Neurodivergent Talent
Kaleidoo is a UK hiring platform matching neurodivergent talent with employers through short, paid work trials, replacing the traditional interview with real, demonstrated work. The premise is simple: interviews reward a very specific kind of performance that has almost nothing to do with whether someone can actually do the job. For a great many neurodivergent people that gap is not a weakness, it is the system being broken. Kaleidoo is built to close it. Join our waiting list today for free!
Candidates build a profile around how they genuinely work best, focus patterns, communication preferences, sensory needs, and the environments where they do their strongest work, with no buzzwords and no masking. They then take a short, time-boxed paid trial that mirrors the real role, and are paid for their time regardless of the outcome. Hiring decisions come from what was delivered, not from small talk, eye contact, or how polished the answers were. Crucially, no disclosure is required: no diagnosis, no checkbox, no label. The work is what counts. Employers get lower-risk hiring and a verified talent pool; candidates get honest matching and a portfolio they keep either way.
Kaleidoo was founded by someone with direct lived experience of the barriers it exists to remove, diagnosed autistic in his late thirties, after a career spent knowing something about the hiring process did not fit without having a name for it. The platform is Disability Confident Committed and currently in development, with a waitlist open to candidates, employers and investors ahead of launch. Candidates always join free.
