Mentorium Minds — DSA Specialist Mentoring for Neurodivergent Students

Mentorium Minds provides specialist one-to-one mentoring for neurodivergent university students, working professionals and private clients across the UK. Founded by Maryam, a qualified Specialist Mentor (ASC) and registered Non-Medical Help provider, the practice is built on a straightforward premise: there is no single way to experience autism or university, and support should reflect that. Every session is designed around the individual’s own strengths, challenges and goals, with strategies developed collaboratively rather than prescribed from above.

For eligible university students, support is delivered through the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) and can cover executive functioning, organisation and planning, managing academic demands, building sustainable routines, navigating university life, self-advocacy, emotional regulation and managing overwhelm. Sessions are available remotely across the UK and face-to-face in Cardiff, with the DSA covering costs for eligible students and private self-funded options available for those who prefer more flexibility or are waiting for funding. Maryam brings a warm and highly tailored approach — a recent graduate described her as “incredibly friendly, supportive and excellent at tailoring how support is delivered to the student’s specific needs.”

Alongside the student-facing work, Mentorium Minds offers Access to Work-funded specialist workplace coaching for neurodivergent employees and self-employed professionals, supporting organisation, communication, executive functioning, workplace adjustments and long-term wellbeing at work.
