About Neurodiversity Specialists Ltd
Neurodiversity Specialists is a consultancy based in Ealing, west London, that works with employers across the UK to make work fit the neurodivergent people doing it. Most of what it does sits at the point where an individual meets an organisation — looking at how a particular role, workload and environment land for someone with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia or another neurodivergent profile, then helping managers and HR act on what that shows. It also works with individuals directly, through coaching and through guidance on the route to a diagnosis.
The workplace needs assessment is the centre of the offer. Rather than running through a generic checklist, it looks at how the person actually works day to day — what the role demands, how information reaches them, which tools they use and where the pressure builds — and ends in a detailed report of recommended adjustments and strategies, written so a manager or HR team can follow the reasoning. Assessments run online or in person. One-to-one coaching comes from a Level 7 qualified coach and covers organisation, time management, communication, leadership and coping strategies at work. The diagnostic and screening service does not diagnose: it offers screening conversations, preparation before an assessment, signposting to suitable pathways for ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia and Tourette's, and help making sense of the outcome afterwards.
For organisations the work moves from awareness towards structure — general neurodiversity awareness sessions and ADHD and autism training, practical workshops for managers, HR and staff, a champions programme that trains employees as peer support, toolkits for neuro-inclusive management, and consultancy and audit work reviewing policy and culture. The team describes its approach as strengths-based and drawing on both lived and professional experience, though individual practitioners are not named on the site. It has traded since 2020 as Neurodiversity Works Limited. Fees are not published; a 30-minute introductory call can be booked online.
