About Neurodiversity Uncovered by Natasha Catchpole
Neurodiversity Uncovered is a Derby-based consultancy that works on both sides of the workplace relationship — with neurodivergent employees who are finding parts of their role harder than they should be, and with the managers and organisations employing them. It suits people who have disclosed dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD or autism at work, and also those who suspect they are neurodivergent but have no formal diagnosis. The starting question is where the job and the way a person thinks are out of step, and what can be changed.
The core service is a workplace needs assessment, run entirely over Zoom or Teams in three parts: around an hour with the manager, around two hours with the employee, and a joint meeting of about an hour to agree next steps. A written report follows within five working days, with recommendations that can cover changes to the environment, assistive technology, training for colleagues, coaching and alternative ways of working. One-to-one coaching and co-coaching — where employee and manager work through things together — are also offered online, each followed by a written report within two working days.
The practice was founded by Natasha Catchpole, a business psychologist and neurodiversity consultant with more than ten years' experience delivering diagnostics, assessments, training and coaching in workplaces, higher education and prisons. She works alongside Charlotte Eade, a neurodiversity consultant and coach who uses an appreciative enquiry approach, and Kate Cooper, a lawyer with more than 20 years in the legal sector and legal education who coaches neurodivergent staff in law firms and professional services. Fees are not published, so employers and individuals should get in touch for a quote.
