About NeuroType

NeuroType is a set of free, private self-reflection tools and plain-English guides for adults exploring patterns associated with ADHD, autism and AuDHD. The tools cover attention and executive function, sensory sensitivity, autism masking, adult autistic traits and rejection sensitivity, alongside the CAT-Q camouflaging questionnaire. Each reflection takes around six to fourteen minutes, and a guided Full NeuroType Journey links five of them into a combined summary in about 45 minutes.

Privacy and pacing are built in. No account is needed, individual answers stay in the user's own browser rather than being sent to NeuroType's servers, and they can be cleared at any time. Results are presented as relative patterns — "more noticeable", "mixed", "less noticeable" — rather than scores, cut-offs or verdicts, with a plain-English summary designed to help people put scattered everyday experiences into words.

NeuroType is clear about its limits: it does not diagnose, confirm or rule out any condition, and is not a substitute for assessment by a qualified clinician. Its purpose is preparation — collecting examples and questions to take into a conversation with a GP, psychologist, psychiatrist or other professional. A library of sourced guides sits alongside the tools, covering topics such as late-diagnosed autism in women, autistic burnout, ADHD time blindness, emotional dysregulation and sensory overload in adults. NeuroType is operated by BiteRight Ltd.
