About OM Interactive
OM Interactive is a Hemel Hempstead company that designs and supplies motion-activated projection systems — equipment that turns a floor, table, wall or ceiling into a surface that reacts to movement. It has worked in this area since 2005, and most of its systems go into special schools, SEND units, day services, residential care, mental health settings and brain injury rehabilitation. For autistic children and adults, and for people with learning disabilities or complex physical needs, the appeal is a sensory space that responds to even very small movements, so taking part does not depend on speech, fine motor control or following verbal instructions.
The range splits into portable and fixed kit. Mobii is a portable, height-adjustable unit that projects onto any table or floor and can move between rooms; omiVista is its ceiling-mounted equivalent. omiReflex and omiWall bring interaction to walls, omiSky to ceilings, and omiBeam and omiLED add coloured light, while omiRoom combines them into a full multi-sensory room run from the omiControl touch screen. Activities come in suites written for particular settings — including SEND, Autism and Special Needs suites — covering calm water scenes, ball games, cause-and-effect play, music, numeracy and life skills. The omiVerse platform lets staff build their own content, and OM Interactive provides training and warranty support.
For families, Budii is a compact wall-mounted version of the Mobii with 120 activities and an Auto Play mode that cycles through chosen activities so a child can play without an adult driving it. Systems for settings vary by model and package. Free demonstrations are offered on site or online, and the team handles funding questions directly for schools, care providers and parents.

Questions about OM Interactive
Can OM Interactive's systems be used at home?
Yes. Budii is a compact wall-mounted version of the Mobii designed for home use, with 120 activities and an Auto Play mode so a child can play independently.
Does someone need to be mobile to use an OM Interactive projection?
No. The systems are designed to respond to very small movements, so people with limited mobility or complex physical needs can still trigger and take part in the activities.
Can we try a system before buying?
Yes. OM Interactive offers free demonstrations, either on site or online, booked through its website.
Is there content specifically for autistic learners?
Yes. Alongside the SEND and Special Needs suites there is a dedicated Autism Suite, and staff can create their own activities with the omiVerse platform.
