PAM Wellness – Neurodiversity Solutions

PAM Wellness is the wellbeing arm of PAM Group, a Warrington-based occupational health and employee wellbeing provider that is now part of the Optima Health Group. Its neurodiversity service is set up for organisations rather than individuals: employers who want to put the right adjustments in place for neurodivergent staff, and colleges and universities doing the same for students. For a neurodivergent employee, the likely route in is through an employer or education provider that uses PAM.

The neurodiversity offer sits alongside a much larger employee assistance and occupational health business, and that context shapes it. Workplace needs assessments look at how a job, its tools and its environment are working for a particular person and what should change. Screening and diagnostic assessments help clarify what may be going on, and assistive technology comes with training so that it actually gets used. Individual coaching and co-coaching support the person day to day, while awareness training, workshops and webinars are pitched at managers and teams — the people whose understanding often decides whether adjustments hold. Because PAM also runs EAP counselling, mental health support, trauma support and mediation, an organisation can join neurodiversity support up with wider wellbeing provision through one provider. Named accreditations include SEQOHS, the EAP Association, RISQS and Cyber Essentials, alongside ISO standards. PAM works with public, private and charity sector clients across the UK and overseas.
