Rosemary Richings — Dyspraxia & Neurodiversity Speaker and Writer
Rosemary Richings is a Canadian-British writer, editor and speaker specialising in dyspraxia and neurodiversity, bringing a decade of lived-experience advocacy and content creation to organisations, editors and publishers across the UK, North America and Europe. She is the author of two published books — Stumbling Through Space and Time: Living Life With Dyspraxia (Jessica Kingsley Publishers) and Studying With Dyspraxia (Bloomsbury Study Skills) — which together have earned praise from educational leaders, community advocates and readers encountering their first genuinely affirming account of the dyspraxic experience. Her work on sensory processing support and accessibility has been published in Medicinal Media and other outlets, and she has been featured in 100 Days of Inspirational Women for her role as a force for good in the neurodiversity community.
Her speaking work brings lived, cross-cultural disability perspective to events, panels and organisations: she speaks on dyspraxia and neurodivergent experience, inclusive and accessible communication, and what it actually means to create resources that serve neurodivergent audiences rather than merely describe them. Alongside speaking, she works with teams and publishers as an editorial writer and editor, producing and reviewing disability and neurodiversity content across HR, communications and educational contexts, and has affiliate links with organisations including Girls Interrupting and neurodiversity community partners.
Rosemary is based in the UK with experience across American, Canadian, British and European professional contexts, and publishes a curated resource list for dyspraxia and neurodivergence alongside her reasonable adjustment requirements — both publicly available on her site for any organisation considering working with her.
