About Sandra Suomela Coaching
Sandra Suomela is an EMCC-accredited coach who describes her work as holistic performance and neurodiversity coaching. She works one to one with adults who want room to think about where they are and where they want to be — a career change, a question of confidence, a relationship, or simply how to live in a way that fits them. Her premise is that the answers to the how and the why already sit with the client. She listens, observes and asks, rather than prescribing a system, which may suit neurodivergent adults who have had years of other people's rules about how they should organise their time, their work or themselves.
Her training combines psychology and the body. She holds an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London, with a thesis on embodiment as a route to flourishing, and a BSc in Behavioural Sciences from the University of Helsinki, alongside an NLP diploma. Born and raised in Finland, she competed in gymnastics and dance and still boxes competitively, and that attention to physical experience runs through her coaching. She reports more than 2,500 coaching hours.
Her neurodiversity work includes coaching adults on behalf of several UK companies, and she has also worked as a support trainer and performance coach in schools and universities through GRIT: Breakthrough programmes and as a therapeutic coach with young people through GROW Therapeutic Coaching. She holds an enhanced DBS certificate and safeguarding training. Her site does not publish fees, session formats or a location, so anyone considering coaching should ask about those, and about any workplace funding, when they first get in touch.
