Unlock Psychology Ltd is a private clinical psychology-led company aiming to reduce barriers to accessing expert, evidence-based support, training and care to promote health, well-being and thriving for neurodivergent people. All of our services are delivered by HCPC-registered clinical psychologists with years of experience with neurodiversity, inside and outside of the NHS. We follow the NICE guidelines and latest research in all that we do.
We provide:
– Autism and ADHD diagnostic assessments for adults
– Mental health and neurodiversity awareness and skills training for individuals and businesses
– Adapted psychological therapy for ADHD and autism
– Mental health audits to help businesses understand the needs of their employees, risk-factors (including not adapting to neurodivergent needs) and an intervention plan

ADHD Assessment

Our assessments follow the NICE guidelines, are acceptable to GPs, NHS, universities and workplaces, and are tailored to you and your needs. The cost is all inclusive and includes:
- An average of 3 hours spent with a HCPC-registered clinical psychologist, online or in-person
- A full, gold standard diagnostic interview
- A developmental history (ideally with an informant)
- A clinical interview to understand your context, mental and physical health throughout your life
- A battery of validated questionnaires and interpretation
- A feedback appointment to discuss the results, coping and next steps
- A report including bespoke recommendations for you, averaging 14 pages long
We operate with short waiting lists of 2-4 weeks on average, and the process can be done within 1-2 weeks typically.
We offer a free 20-minute consultation.
Autism Assessment

Mental health and neurodiversity awareness training

We offer evidence-based, practically-focused, expert training on understanding and adapting to a range of mental health and neurodiversity-related needs in the workplace. Such training shows an average of £5 return on investment per £1 spent for boosting employee retention, reducing sickness rates and fostering a productive, engaged and happy workforce. We offer a free consultation to discuss your needs and can develop bespoke training, be it for managers or employees.
Psychological therapy

We offered evidence-based, personalised, compassionate therapeutic interventions for the range of mental health difficulties and/or for managing ADHD and/or autism. Our therapies are delivered by experienced clinical psychologists with expertise in neurodiversity. We offer a free 20-minute consultation.
