About Wired Differently

Wired Differently is a UK company offering coaching, therapy, career support and workplace training for neurodivergent adults — and for the employers, managers and business owners around them. It suits people who want support with work, self-employment or the wider business of living in systems not designed around them, and organisations that want practical help making adjustments land. Its offer is split three ways: for individuals, for entrepreneurs and for workplaces.

Founded in late 2020 by therapist and coach Sara-Louise Ackrill, it operates as Wired Differently Limited and draws on a team in which a high proportion are neurodivergent themselves. Individuals can choose from a roster of counsellors, coaches and therapists covering areas such as trauma and Brainspotting, EMDR, grief, dyslexia at work, family and parenting coaching, creative arts therapy for 7 to 25-year-olds and fitness coaching for neurodivergent women and non-binary people. Two specialist career coaches help with CVs, job searching, interviews and starting new roles, and ADHD coaching funded through Access to Work is available. Every new client starts with a free 30-minute discovery call.

For employers, the Reasonably ND programme combines awareness talks, training, one-to-one coaching for managers and staff, group sessions, pre-mediation and HR guidance, with awareness talks available on Zoom. The team also offers public speaking, business consultancy and learning and development. For neurodivergent founders there is business mentoring and coaching, website and digital support, virtual assistants and self-employment training, the last developed with partner Start Differently.
