If you’re as excited as we are to celebrate and support neurodiversity in 2025, we’ve got an amazing line-up of events for you.
Embracing neurodiversity is essential for building inclusive communities where everyone feels valued. By understanding and celebrating neurological differences, we can promote (self) understanding and acceptance first and foremost, break down stereotypes and create environments where neurodivergent individuals can thrive.
Our goal with this blog is to provide you with a month-by-month guide to the key neurodiversity related events that are upcoming in 2025. So, let’s dive in.

January 2025 in Neurodiversity
Starting the year with a bang, the Neurodiversity Global Seminar Series kicks off on January 15th. This near-monthly online seminar is a collaboration between the Centre for Neurodiversity Studies at O.P. Jindal Global University in India and the Centre for Neurodiversity & Development at Durham University in the UK. The series aims to facilitate a global interdisciplinary dialogue on neurodiversity, featuring seminars presented by researchers and practitioners from diverse cultural contexts. These seminars offer a platform for sharing knowledge, developing collaborations, and promoting a deeper understanding of neurodiversity on a global scale.
February 2025 in Neurodiversity
February brings an exciting opportunity for professionals interested in creating more inclusive workplaces with Lexxic’s Neuro-inclusive Talent Management: Ask the Experts event on February 26th. This event invites HR leaders, managers, and neurodiversity champions to explore best practices for neuro-inclusive talent management. Attendees can participate in interactive Q&A sessions with experts, gaining insights into recruitment, retention, and support strategies that benefit neurodivergent employees.
March 2025 in Neurodiversity
From March 17th to 23rd, Neurodiversity Celebration Week takes centre stage. This global initiative challenges stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences. Schools, universities, and organisations are encouraged to participate by recognising the strengths and talents of neurodivergent individuals, and the week features a variety of events, from workshops and lectures to art exhibitions and social media campaigns, all aimed at fostering a culture of acceptance and inclusion.
March also includes the Neuroinclusion in Business Conference on March 20th, in Northampton, UK. This conference focuses on integrating neuroinclusion strategies within businesses and offers a platform for professionals to exchange ideas and best practices.
April 2025 in Neurodiversity
April brings the much-anticipated Neurodiversity in Business Annual Conference on April 23rd, in London and online. This conference gathers corporate members, neurodivergent individuals, and allies to discuss and develop neuroinclusive workplace strategies. Attendees will benefit from expert-led sessions, real-world case studies, and networking opportunities, all designed to foster an understanding of how businesses can better support neurodivergent employees.
As well as this flagship event, April also marks World Autism Acceptance Month and World Autism Awareness Day on April 2nd, promoting acceptance and understanding of autistic individuals.
On Wednesday the 9th April, the Diversity Network’s Neurodiversity Summit is bringing together, as it does so well each year, HR Directors, DEI experts and curious leaders alike to discuss how best to support neurodivergent employees in the workplace.
May 2025 in Neurodiversity
May 9th and 10th mark the dates for The Neurodiversity Show at the NEC Birmingham, UK. As the premier exhibition dedicated to neurodiversity, this event offers a wealth of resources, workshops, and presentations tailored to neurodiverse audiences. Whether you’re a parent, educator, or neurodivergent individual, there’s something for everyone. The show aims to provide support, raise awareness, and foster a sense of community among attendees.
The Institute of Government and Public Policy (IGPP) hosts their sixth Neurodiversity At Work Conference at 15Hatfields in London on the 21st May.
Alongside this, the National Neurodiversity Show comes to the Cardiff City Stadium in Cardiff on the 22nd May.
June 2025 in Neurodiversity
June is a month of pride and celebration, with Neurodiversity Pride Day on June 16th, 2025. As part of Neurodiversity Pride Week, this day honours the diverse range of neurological differences, encouraging individuals and organisations to host activities that promote pride in neurodivergent identities. Events range from parades and festivals to workshops and panel discussions, all aimed at fostering a sense of belonging and acceptance.
If that’s not enough to take pride in, the National Neurodiversity Show hosts their second show of 2025 at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre on the 16th June.
July 2025 in Neurodiversity
July 2025 offers a fantastic opportunity for workplace leaders to enhance their understanding and support of neurodivergent employees. On July 16th and 17th, The Learn2 Group is hosting its CPD-accredited Neurodiversity in the Workplace: Manager Training Course. This 1.5-day course is designed to instil confidence in managers to create fully inclusive workplaces. Accompanied by a range of resources, attendees are supported in developing ongoing implementation plans for their organisations.
As well as this, the National Neurodiversity Show visits the Coventry Building Society Arena in the midlands on the 23rd July.
August 2025 in Neurodiversity
On August 7th, dive into the rich history and future of neurodiversity at “The Neurodiversity Movement: A History,” an engaging workshop led by neurodiversity advocate Nat Hawley and hosted by Exceptional Individuals. This interactive session celebrates neurodivergent strengths while providing practical insights into navigating challenges associated with conditions like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and dyspraxia. Attendees will explore their unique strengths, learn practical strategies for daily life, and connect with others who share similar experiences.
September 2025 in Neurodiversity
September shines a spotlight on inclusion with National Inclusion Week, running from September 15th to 21st. Founded by Inclusive Employers in 2013, NIW has grown into a significant event that celebrates inclusion and encourages action to build more inclusive workplaces. What began with fewer than 100 participants has now expanded to engage over 10,000 individuals by 2024, reflecting the increasing emphasis on fostering inclusive environments. Whether it’s showcasing ongoing efforts or kicking off new projects, NIW serves as a platform for highlighting the importance of inclusion within the workplace.
October 2025 in Neurodiversity
October is ADHD Awareness Month, a crucial time dedicated to raising awareness, enhancing understanding, offering support, and dispelling myths about ADHD.
October’s also dedicated to raising awareness about dyslexia with a series of events and campaigns throughout Dyslexia Awareness Week. These initiatives aim to educate the public, support individuals with dyslexia, and promote inclusive educational practices. From workshops and lectures to social media campaigns, there’s a wealth of resources available to help everyone better understand and support those with dyslexia.
November 2025 in Neurodiversity
In November, the Neurodiversity Global Seminar Series concludes with the session “Advancing Autism Research and Training in India.” Led by Dr. Nidhi Singhal of Action for Autism, India, this event highlights ground breaking work in autism research and training. Dr. Singhal will share valuable insights and practical strategies, prompting a deeper understanding of autism within diverse cultural contexts.
December 2025 in Neurodiversity
International Day of Persons with Disabilities, held annually in December, serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusion and accessibility for all. This global observance highlights the contributions of individuals with disabilities, including those who are neurodivergent, and underscores the ongoing need to break down barriers and foster a more inclusive society.
