These terms apply to your use of The Neurodiversity Directory at neurodiversity.directory, run by The Neurodiversity Directory CIC (company number 17359613, registered in England and Wales). By using the Directory you agree to them.

About the Directory

The Directory is a free, independent, not-for-profit listing of neurodiversity support. Using it is free, listing on it is free, and no payment influences inclusion, placement or badges. How listings are reviewed and what each badge means is set out in our published standard.

Information on the Directory

Listings describe independent providers. We review every listing before it appears, but a listing, a badge or anything else on the Directory is not a recommendation, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of information that providers supply or the quality of their services. Nothing on the Directory, including our guides, glossary, statistics and articles, is medical, legal or professional advice. Please use your own judgement and, where appropriate, seek professional advice before choosing a service.

Contacting providers

When you contact a provider through the Directory, we pass your message to them. Any arrangement you then make is between you and the provider; we are not a party to it and are not responsible for their services, fees or conduct.

If you list or manage a listing

You must provide information that is accurate, lawful and yours to share, and keep it up to date. You confirm that you have the right to publish anything you submit, including text, logos and images, and you allow us to display it on the Directory. We may edit listings for clarity and consistency, decline a submission, or remove a listing that does not meet our standard or these terms. Only the provider a listing describes, or someone authorised by them, may claim or manage it.

Acceptable use

You must not use the Directory for anything unlawful, misleading or abusive; submit false, defamatory or spam content; impersonate anyone; or try to disrupt, scrape at scale or gain unauthorised access to the site.

Our content

The Directory’s own content, including its articles, guides, glossary, statistics and design, belongs to The Neurodiversity Directory CIC. You are welcome to quote it with a clear credit and a link back to the page you quoted.

Links to other websites

The Directory links to providers’ websites and other external sources. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Liability

We provide the Directory as it is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Directory or of any provider found through it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised, and continued use of the Directory means you accept the current version.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Questions about them can be sent to admin@neurodiversity.directory.
